“Time will take your money, but money won’t buy time.” – James Taylor
Ah, money. There’s never enough, is there? Just when you think you’re on top of it all, more bills come in and the stress starts all over. If, like me, you spend a lot of time trying to figure out a better way to cut costs, a simple tool like Cinch might be your best bet.
Cinch, a Boston-based startup, features only the best financial products and is a completely unbiased tool (meaning financial companies can’t pay to be recommended on the site). Cinch knows how time consuming and confusing financial research can be, so they want to take that off your plate. One less thing to worry about is pretty sweet! There are three ways to use their site: BillSnap (the easiest, most beneficial way), Cinch recommendations based on your situation, and overall top Cinch picks.
BillSnap
All you need to do is upload one of your (many) current bills. Cinch will analyze it and make a recommendation on how you can save money, whether that’s by using a different service, credit card, or mortgage plan. Easy peasy!
Recommendations
Cinch will also make recommendations for you based on whatever information you want to provide them. After answering a few simple questions about my credit card, I was given a bunch of recommendations that would help me save and help me earn maximum cash back based on what I buy (groceries — lots of groceries). They also recommend banks and insurance and mortgage options.
Cinch Picks
Cinch has figured it all out for you. You can get their top picks and advice, plus WHY they chose particular credit cards, banks, insurance plans, and mortgage options. This means you don’t have to do all that miserable research yourself — major time saver! And time is money, right?
I happen to love how personalized this website is. Though it takes a few days for your BillSnap recommendations to come through, it is only because it is so highly personalized. This company wants to save you money, and they want to do it for free! It’s a great tool to turn to when shopping around for insurance or a new credit card, or for any other way to save money. Give it a try and save!
Don’t forget to head down to the Greenway on Thursday, August 27. Bring your bills, and Cinch will talk to you about how you can be saving… plus, they’ll treat you to lunch!
