When I first became a mother, the loneliness I felt surprised me. Why hadn’t anyone warned me about how lonely it would be? I had the sweetest baby, a supportive partner and a wonderful family, but I felt as if I had lost a connection to the “outside” world. I found myself scouring the internet for connection, reading blogs for advice, and searching for something that made me feel seen in my new role. From there, I knew that someday I’d foster an online community for mothers.
“If you can’t find a village, build one”.
Boston Moms is your online village. Written BY Boston moms FOR Boston Moms, it’s a place where we cultivate community, cheer each other on, and celebrate the many contributions that we make to our families and to the world around us. Motherhood doesn’t have to be lonely. I’m SO glad you’re here.
I was born and raised in Plymouth, attended college in Boston, and followed my husband around the country while he served as a Submarine Officer in the United States Navy for a period of time. When we decided to put down roots in 2016, we knew we needed to move *home* to Boston. Six years later, it’s still the best decision we’ve ever made.
I currently live on the South Shore with my husband, Rob and our 3 children, born in 2013, 2015 and 2019. I work full-time from home, and spend my days balancing motherhood and my career. I am truly passionate about connecting Boston-area moms to each other, to important and relevant resources, and to local businesses. In my free time, you can find me trying a new recipe, working on our fixer upper, planning a party, or supporting my favorite local businesses.
I look forward to connecting with YOU, whether it be online or off. Please feel free to contact me any time at [email protected]
