October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, and the whole month of October is set aside to bring attention to the cause. About 25% of pregnancies do not go full term, and we feel the loss of our babies whether it’s marked on the calendar or not. Often, it can feel as if you and your partner are the only ones remembering.

No matter how short they were, those lives made an impact — on you, on your friends and family, and on countless other people who knew the infant, no matter how briefly. You may put on a brave face, but a part of your heart will always hold on. We want to remember all those sweet lives and have set aside a piece of our site to honor them. We’ve created a Forever Loved wall, and we want to love those lives with you.

You can email us with the date and name you’d like to add. Or if you’d simply like to remember a date, that’s fine as well — however you’d like to list your little one, we will include it. Send your email, marked “Forever Loved” to info {at} bostonmomsblog {dot} org — we’ll do our best to get them up within 24 hours.

We will keep this wall linked with the above picture on our sidebar for the month of October, but you will always be able to access the page if you save the link.
