Thank you to our friends at Boston Marriott Copley Place for sponsoring this post!

I have been so lucky to experience many of Boston’s hotels. From work travel when we lived out of state to several local staycations in recent years, I consider myself a bit of a hotel connoisseur. You’ll often hear me say that hotel stays are my love language. It’s true! When Boston Marriott Copley Place offered to host my family over my birthday weekend I jumped at the chance! I had no idea of the treat that was in store for us. Boston Marriott Copley Place is fancy, fun + family-friendly!

Boston Marriott Copley Place is located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, allowing for maximum walkability to the best of Boston. For locals, you’ll probably be intrigued by the hotel’s proximity to some of best shopping in the city (The Prudential Center, Copley Place, and Newbury Street) and countless fabulous restaurants. For friends from out of town, or locals who haven’t been tourists in our own city, the proximity to the Boston Duck Tours, Old Town Trolley, Boston Public Library, Trinity Church and more are reasons enough to visit. The concierge desk at Boston Marriott Copley Place is staffed with the nicest people on the planet and they can help you make the most of this incredible location during your stay!

The views of the Charles River from our room were incredible, but the room itself absolutely knocked our socks off. We had a Junior Suite and adjoining room, and it was essentially a palace. I have never stayed in such a large room in Boston! The five of us were so comfortable that we could have spent a week or longer in the space without feeling cramped. Our kids kept saying “this place is fancy!!” and remarking about the comfort of the beds and the various amenities. The Boston Marriott Copley Place was recently renovated, and it all looks beautiful!

Our kids enjoyed splashing in the indoor pool and my husband and I both commented about the size of the hotel gym, which features great views and high-end machines. The hotel restaurant is a local favorite: Yard House. Yard House is a family-friendly spot with options for all palates. William had an ahi tuna sandwich (our mature palate), while Ben and Caroline opted for “kid food”: pizza and macaroni and cheese. Rob and I both enjoyed our meals and I *really* enjoyed my beverage, a delicious grapefruit paloma!

Copley Marriott PoolFor our family, having access to the M Club Lounge was key and I would HIGHLY recommend it for future stays. Access to the M Club Lounge allows for guests to pop in for drinks or snacks any time during operational hours, which is so convenient for a busy family with several (constantly) hungry bellies. The breakfast buffet in the M Club Lounge was delicious, too, and fueled us for a day of walking around the city!

We are so grateful to our partners at Marriott for hosting us for this unforgettable staycation! We can’t wait to go back. I think I’ll visit for a moms-only night soon. I can see a big comfy Marriott bed and an a la cart Yard House room service delivery in my future!
