We know how important your child's health is, so we have partnered with PhysicianOne Urgent Care to help keep mom calm and kids healthy!
PhysicianOne Urgent Care

In a family with five kids, illness often hits hard and fast. And, of course, it almost never hits during the hours that our pediatrician’s office is actually open! I swear germs must have an internal clock set to send a concerning symptom right at bedtime, or smack dab in the middle of the weekend!

There are times when my kids get sick that I question whether their symptoms warrant bringing them to urgent care. It is usually late at night, and I have often found myself wishing I could just have a Zoom chat with a doctor or nurse for some guidance before I decide to pack my miserable munchkin into the car.

PhysicianOne Urgent Care is the perfect answer to that wish!

PhysicianOne Urgent Care offers 24/7 telehealth, so a parent can start with a virtual visit at any time of the day or night and get much needed guidance from a medical professional. If it is deemed necessary, they can then come right in for a swab to determine what is causing the illness, and start the correct treatment as quickly as possible.

Hearing that all PhysicianOne locations use rapid PCR testing for flu, COVID, RSV, and strep A is music to my ears! This means one visit to the urgent care will give same-day definitive lab results. No more sending to a lab and waiting days for results!

Getting my kids feeling better as quickly as possible when they are sick is always my goal as a parent. With 24/7 telehealth and five locations in the Boston area, PhysicianOne Urgent Care is a quick, convenient option for medical treatment when your trusted pediatrician is not open or you can’t get a same-day appointment.

Though I hope we won’t have a reason to visit anytime soon, PhysicianOne Urgent Care is a fantastic resource to have at my disposal when my kids are feeling under the weather!

Deanna Greenstein
Deanna is a mom of five (yes, five) children, who lives in Brockton with her small circus of kids, her husband, their dog Penny, and a few cats. Her life is loud, energetic, mostly fun, often gross (did she mention four of those kids are boys?), and she wouldn't have it any other way. In between carting kids to school, baseball, gymnastics, guitar, dance, track and field and every other kid activity known to mankind, she works as a school bus driver for the city of Brockton, and is the Director of Religious Education at the Unity Church of North Easton, a Unitarian Universalist congregation. Deanna also holds degrees in Elementary Physical Education and Dance Education, which she plans to put back into use one day. At parties, Deanna can often be found hanging out with family pets. She follows her children around with a camera like the paparazzi, is pretty sure that 97% of her blood stream is made of coffee, and her laundry is never done.
