Christina Vieira Showcase the World TravelChristina is the founder of Showcase the World Travel, a modern travel agency for overwhelmed families. She has planned hundreds of trips for parents of young children who need a break from the busy. With a degree in Events Management from Suffolk University and 6 years planning marketing events and managing sales team travel she has always loved handling all the often forgotten details. She is widely regarded by Travel Industry and has won two Travel Weekly Magellan awards for her unique planning processes and use of modern technology. She is a member of the Family Travel Association, American Society of Travel Advisors and was honored to be chosen to attend the Future Leaders in Travel Summit. Her insights have been featured on podcasts like Vacation Mavens, Travelling Entrepreneur, Foot Traffic, Disney DNA and the WJXT Channel 4 Morning Show. She believes vacation is where families really thrive, kids grow to love learning and our best memories are made. She credits her passion for the brand to the way it served her personally before she ever contributed to it. Though Shannon moved to Boston to support her husband’s career, Boston Moms was the unexpected gift and opportunity she had no idea was waiting for her. Shannon is mom to Elizabeth (2016) and Anderson (2018). She has been married to her husband, Benjamin, since 2012. Benjamin is a filmmaker and owner of Boston production company Magnus Films. In her free time, Shannon enjoys going to the beach, browsing antique stores, hiking with her family, traveling, reading, and watching movies with her husband.
