Is there anything cuter than a little kid in a paper crown? Follow these easy instructions to create your own patriotic paper crowns just in time for the Fourth of July!
Materials:
Red, white, and blue construction paper; scissors; pipe cleaners; tape
Optional materials:
Stickers, white paper to decorate (instead of colored construction paper)
Instructions:
-
- Cut out a three-inch strip of paper and staple the ends together to make a crown (be careful to ensure the crown will fit around your child’s head).
- Cut out red, white, and blue stars.
- Tape the stars to the pipe cleaners.
- Tape the pipe cleaners to the inside of the crown. For a fun effect, tape your pipe cleaners at different heights so they look like fireworks!
