Crane Explorer: Shipwreck Scholars

28th Annual Greek Independence Day Parade of Boston

The parade will start at Boylston and Exeter Streets and finish at Boylston and Charles Streets. Following the parade, the New England Evzones and local Greek dance troupes will perform dances from all over Greece, and authentic Greek food will be provided by Greek street trucks and vendors.

2024 Mayor’s Cup Street Hockey Tournament

Mayor Michelle Wu and the Boston Parks and Rec Department will once again host the this street hockey tournament in partnership with the Boston Bruins Foundation during the April Boston Public Schools vacation week. All games will be played at Joseph Moakley Roller Hockey Rink on Columbia Road in South Boston.
2024 Boston Marathon

Of all the things to do with kids in Boston, this one is an annual “must!” The Boston Marathon is the world’s oldest annual marathon! The legendary Boston Marathon course follows a point-to-point route from rural Hopkinton to Boston, including the most famous hill in all of running, “Heartbreak Hill,” located in Newton between miles 20 and 21!
