“America’s most beloved drive-in movie theater” has been running movies for the past 63 years! Each night they run double features on each of their two giant screens. There is also a kid-friendly beer garden with a snack bar, an ice cream stand, and fire pits for making s’mores.
North of Boston
Merrimack Valley Pavillion Drive-In
Merrimack Valley Pavillion Family Center, 2087 Main St., Tewksbury
Merrimack Valley Pavilion hosts drive-in family movie nights each Friday and Saturday throughout the summer! While you wait for the movie to begin at dusk, enjoy a great game of mini golf for half price! Concession stands are open for dinner and treats.
Northfield Drive-In Theater

The Northfield Drive-In is just a stone’s throw over the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border, and it’s certainly worth the trip! This classic drive-in is celebrating 74 years in business, and its retro feel is family fun for everyone! The snack bar opens at 6:30 p.m., with double features playing throughout the season!
South of Boston
Moonrise Cinemas

If you are looking for a fresh take on the classic family drive-in, head over to Moonrise Cinemas! This innovative movie setup combines a chef-inspired menu with craft beer and wine selections to accompany your favorite movies on the gigantic outdoor movie screen!
The restaurant and beer garden open at 5 p.m. Thursday-Sunday. Come early and compete against friends in corn hole, Aunt Sally, or giant Jenga!
Wellfleet Drive-In Theatre

This classic drive-in theatre is a throwback to the origination of drive-ins in 1957! It is the last of its kind on the Cape and one of only about 300 left in the entire country! Get there early to enjoy a round of mini-golf before the double-feature movie!
Moonrise Cinemas in Plymouth is a great family friendly, dog friendly outdoor cinema, beer garden and restaurant that opened in June!
