Boston Moms Guide to Apple Picking

Crisp fall air is entering New England, and that can only mean one thing — it’s apple picking time! Apple orchards are speckled throughout the Boston area, and each has something special (and delicious!) to offer!

Autumn Hill

Come enjoy the beautiful views over 84 acres of scenic farmland as you pick from 25 varieties of apples!

Belkin Family Lookout Farm

89 Pleasant Street, South Natick :: 508-653-0653

Belkin Family Lookout Farm offers a large variety of apples to pick, plus hayrides to the orchards! Weekend reservations are strongly encouraged, as the farm cannot guarantee walk-in availability. 

Berlin Orchards

The orchard offers 12 varieties of apples, plus hay wagon rides on the weekends between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The last entry into the orchard is at 4:30 p.m.

Boston Hill Farm

The picking fields are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and modified fall festivals run each weekend through October. Look for live music, a petting zoo, ice cream, and so much more!

Brooksby Farm

This historic farm offers pick-your-own fruit summer through fall, plus animals, a shop, and hayrides.

Carlson Orchards

Visit the cider barn Thursday through Sunday for a delicious treat! There are more than 14 varieties of apples available to pick throughout the season. Pick-your-own is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Carver Hill Orchard

Pick some apples, grab some cider donuts from the farm store, spread out a blanket, and enjoy a picnic! Pick-your-own is available daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Connor’s Farm

Pick apples and enjoy a fun-filled day on the farm! The corn maze and play area are open for the season! This year’s theme is “lost in space.”

C. N. Smith Farm

Enjoy a hayride to the orchard, plus farm animals, delicious cider donuts, and a farm stand! This farm has been family owned and operated for over 80 years.

Doe’s Orchard

Drew Farm

Hill Orchard

Honey Pot Hill Orchards

Apple picking is cash only and open until 5 p.m. daily! Get lost in one of three mazes, visit the farm animals, and enjoy a hard cider or a cider donut while you are there! Hayrides are available on the weekends.

Meadowbrook Orchards

Enjoy picking four kinds of apples, then enjoy a delicious dinner at the restaurant and bakery inside! Pick-your-own is available Tuesday through Sunday.

Nicewicz Family Farm

Deanna is a mom of five (yes, five) children, who lives in Brockton with her small circus of kids, her husband, their dog Penny, and a few cats. Her life is loud, energetic, mostly fun, often gross (did she mention four of those kids are boys?), and she wouldn't have it any other way.
